"It's all about prezuntashun.
It's a gud thing!"
-- Mabel Steward,
Guest Chef on "Cooking with Kitchenmama"

Okay, we admit.  We do some pretty crazy things in PEDC.  Amongst them are the big productions we plan for each other's birthday celebrations.

It all started with Lori's big 4-0 celebration and it hasn't ended since!

The latest and greatest project was Lindy's birthday.  Because of Lindy's love of cooking, we decided to film a spoof of a cooking show for her.  This entailed all of us creating characters, getting dressed up in costume, and filming a 20-minute cooking show, commercial breaks included!  The result was Cooking with Kitchenmama

Michelle's character was a spoof of Martha Stewart, whom we all affectionately refer to Michelle as because of her phenomenal domestic talents.  For the show, Michelle transformed into Mabel Steward, from Mobile, Alabama.  Her references to her "husband Earl" are constantly giggled about even today and her favorite quote, "It's all about prezuntashun.  It's a gud thing" is often exclaimed during conversation.
